GBWWA Roundtable - Hybrid working – Appropriate or atrocious?

We recently held the first roundtable in a series leading up to the final Award Ceremony in October! The subject was centred around hybrid working and how the world is beginning to adapt after 18 months of lockdown restrictions, change and uncertainty.

We had our own Simon Scott-Nelson and Jonathan Davies from the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards hosting this session!

Involved in the discussion were:

  • Ellie Caley, Wellity Global

  • Charlie Winton, OK Positive

  • Christine Beardsell, Kiteline Health

  • Clare Henson-Bowen, Bespoke Wellbeing

  • Danielle Pratt, SockMonkey Studios

  • Lucy Vallis, Home Office

group zoom call

The talk contains many insightful and informative comments from a group of experts within the field of workplace wellbeing. They discuss how important trust is for companies in the new hybrid working environment and how we can destigmatise working from home. It is also highlighted that there is no one size fits all solution to hybrid working and adaptations need to be made on both sides in order to make things work, this point is particularly important to Lucy at the Home Office as they have an employee base of 37,000.

The group discuss how their own companies have coped through the pandemic and give their own tips and advice for workplaces.
