Why eating a variety of fruit and vegetables are important for optimal health.


Eating the rainbow apparently is a health eating tip, and I don't mean a bag of skittles!


The variety of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in fruits and vegetables have enormous healing powers and bring their own distinctive colours. By eating an array of colourful fruits and vegetable you can provide your body with everything it needs.


Red: Reduces risk of certain cancers, diabetes, heart disease, stroke whilst also improving skin quality


Orange/Yellow: Protects the skin against sun and pollution, promotes healthy joints, reduces risk of heart disease and cancer. Promotes eye health and protects vision


Green: Aids tissue healing, detoxifies the body, restores energy and increases vitality

Blue/Purple: Boosts memory, helps fight inflammation and protects cells from damage


White: Keeps bones strong, helps lower cholesterol and helps balance hormones


So 'Eating the Rainbow' is proven to help Physical, Mental and Emotional health.
